I'm Gabe. I do different things. I enjoy writing, exercising, hugging friends, hopping around, traveling, and naps when I can get them. I have a goofy cat named Regardless who is meowing loudly right now at a squirrel in the backyard.
WEBSITES
GabrielHudson.org
This is the the main web hub for all my activities. It organizes my various sites, catalogs my affiliations, and provides art and design examples.
RedFuzzyJesus.com
This has been my personal blog for years. Named after a red velveteen figure used in both a Mexican political campaign and the ultra-trendy Urban Outfitters, the blog covers the intersection of politics, religion and popular culture. It also includes personal photo albums, various activities, music I like, and a locked gallery of art, poetry, and short stories.
GabrielHudson.net
This is my page dedicated to my professional endeavors. I am currently on the job market for a tenure-track full time professorship. It includes my Curriculum Vitae, syllabi from courses I've designed, and conference papers.
GabrielHudson.CO
This is the other side of my professional life. In 2010, after free-lancing as a political consultant for years, I incorporated myself. Turning me into an inc. makes it easier to market myself and helps with taxes. Perhaps someday this little corporation will have more than one employee. This site is my page for potential clients and current projects.
GabrielHudsonArt.com
In an attempt to always develop my creative side, this site includes samples of poetry, fiction, digital media and netart, photography, paintings, and anything else that falls into artistic expression. I hope to always do art and to incorporate it into my professional life more and more.
GabrielSethHudson.com
This site is cross-listed under GabrielHudsonArt. It specifically covers my theatrical endeavors. I am currently auditioning in the DC area. I am adding things to this new site and will upload new headshots as soon as they are ready.
GabrielHudsonColorProject.com
This is a side project of mine in which I am creating a data base of quantifiable information on the relationship between separate color groups and perceptions of beauty and value. I may develop this into a full-scale research article or merely make it available to see what others can do with it.
GabrielHudson.Me
This is my inspiration blog titled, Everything Else. With all of these sites, I wanted a storage and display space for images, quotes, videos, etc. that inspire my other endeavors. Here you will find compelling pieces of life that fuel a creative and academic mind.
Youtube Channel
Here are my favorite videos as well as a few I've made.
Vimeo Account
Here are videos I've made. A couple are just pieces of larger composite works so they probably don't make any sense independently.

FAMILY
Steph is my eldest sister. She is a wife and amazing mother of 6 wonderful kiddos (this used to say 5 but I have a new niece!!!!). She makes mothering into an art form and I hope one day when she is not so busy being a mom she will write a book (or books) giving parenting advice. Her blog features creative recipes and activities as well as perspectives on family life.
Colin is my eldest nephew. His blog keeps me up to date on what he, his siblings and parents are up to. So, even though Colin writes the blog, it features all my Moran kiddos. He is 16 and I was 16 when he was born. So, I'm in that old adult surreal state in which I can't quite believe the boys are as old as they are. I couldn't be more proud of him. He's smart and kind and athletic. All my kiddos are just wonderful each in their own way.
Heather is my bonus sister. She is a mother of 3, one little guy and two twin girls. She is sweet and caring. She's also quite an impressive author. She writes a very clever blog called Regardless that chronicles the day-to-day life of a mom. It makes the ordinary funny and provides a lot of insight. I look forward to buying her books at Barnes & Noble one day (soon).
